The vision of VUCL is to help build-up Nepal a prosperous nation from all the way through the development of hydropower from its vast and untapped hydro resources.
The mission of VUCL is to support the government in generating all economically viable electricity from Nepal's available hydro resources and thereby ensure the energy security in the country and realize the export potentials of energy through the development of medium and large scale storage, peaking run-of- river, and run-of- river hydropower projects.
The VUCL abides by the core values of good governance, sound professionalism, and high ethical values in all its activities to achieve its vision and mission.
The VUCL sets the goal of generating adequate hydroelectricity required by the nation-in- progress within reasonably short period of time and establish the company an economically and fiscally sound and profitable institution with strong work ethics responsible for prosperous nation building.
